Canberra Wedding Photographer - Rainy wedding

Ian and Belinda where married at Poachers Pantry in late November.  The rehearsal the week before gave little indication of the weather conditions that the day would provide! Come the big day, the heavens opened, and stayed that way - it was a very, very wet afternoon!

Nevertheless, with the ceremony moved inside, a beautiful, touching ceremony proceeded!  Belinda looked stunning in her gown, with gorgeous pink paeony roses in her bouquet (a personal fave of mine I'll admit!)

Fortunately the heavens gave us a short reprieve after the ceremony, with just enough time to head out and get some lovely shots with Belinda & Ian around the beautiful locations that Poachers Pantry has to offer.

Rain is meant to be good luck on your wedding day (which makes sense, aside from being inconvenient, it does make everything look spectacular, and helps everything grow, which is always good!) so if that's the case this couple is already blessed, but rain aside, I wish Belinda and Ian all the very best of luck for their lives together, what a lovely couple, congratulations you two!!!

  2. Rainy wedding! It looks amazing and very romantic too. I had lovely time watching these photos. We just got engaged and now are going to get married soon at one of the best Chicago wedding venues. We will have a summer sunny day wedding but haven’t decided on the décor theme yet. If you have ideas, please share here.
