Not everyone loves Canberra for its winters, but as a photographer I have to say I am one that does - there is something quite magical about the light at this time of year, the clarity, freshness, and that's without mentioning the beautiful structure of bare deciduous trees in winter - magic! Sure there can be grey and foggy days, but when it's not, the clear blue skies are just to die for.
On July 7th, 2012, Canberra did not disappoint, delivering a spectacularly sparkling winters day for Kristal and Christians beautiful wedding. I have known Kristal for several years now, and she is one amazing lady! An inspiringly talented artist and fashion designer, I knew on announcement of her engagement that this would be one spectacularly graceful and beautiful affair. Sure enough, Kristal designed and made all of the bridesmaids dresses and her own magnificent gown.
The day was just glorious, and a lovely reflection of Christian and Kristals relationship.
