Emmalea & Ryan where married on a beautiful Canberra Autumn afternoon in Canberra.  These guys know how to have fun! It's always beautiful seeing how excited and overcome friends and family are on these occasions, just touches your heart and makes you appreciate how privileged wedding photographers are to get to see so much loveliness and joy.  Big thanks to Justin Craig for his awesome assistance & second shooting on the day! BEAST - Studio Abstracts Project

Another project I've been exploring at Sovereign Studio is creating Animal Abstract images.  It's an ongoing process and one I'm still getting a feel for lighting-wise.  Here are a couple from a session yesterday exploring some different lighting (the last one is Percival trying to get back in the studio after his session :-)).

Camp Quality Supper Club

With less than six weeks to go until the Canberra Camp Quality Supper Club on May 26th, Dieci e Mezzo chef James Kidman, formerly of Sydney's Otto fame, has joined forces with a local Canberra family to highlight the work of Camp Quality and encourage local residents to book at able at the event and support children living with cancer and their families.

For one night only, Canberra's most highly acclaimed chefs and best-known restaurants including Dieci e Mezzo, Sage, Water's Edge and Aubergine will open their doors to groups of 12 Supper Club diners for 'vintage glamour' themed dinner parties with a difference.

Guests are then whisked away in luxurious Lexus vehicles to a secret after-dinner party where Camp Quality Supper Club diners will dance the night away in the true spirit of Camp Quality, who believes laughter is the best medicine.

Funds raised will help families like the Sebens, whom have been involved with Camp Quality for over two years, following the diagnosis of daughter Anabella, 5, with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia).

We had a lot of fun on this photoshoot with Anabella, her younger sister, and Chef James Kidman at Dieci e Mezzo.  Get behind this great cause if you can - it's bound to be an incredible evening of laughter and great food - AND it's all for a wonderful cause!

Canberra Corporate Photographer - Vero Insurance Culinary Event

Last week I was asked to photograph a corporate event with a difference - Vero Insurance held an event at Kamberra Winery with a distinctive "Masterchef" feel - so much fun!

MC'd by "Woody" (Hayden Wood), the four teams of guests at the Vero Event took part in green food based trivia, followed by a masterchef style cook off!  Such fun to be involved in such a different corporate event.  Some pics of the great fun & food had by all are below!
