Timmy & Fi Forever

From my very first meetings with Tim and Fiona over a year ago, they mentioned that they had a feeling it might rain on their wedding day. It seems that for them, a family celebration = wet weather, and as it happened to turn out, their wedding day did indeed extended this tradition.

Try as it might to put a dampener on things, the rain had no luck.  From the moment Fi arrived at the church, to the welcoming, but very loud, in-unison-cry of "FIONA!" by the three beautiful young girls in charge of the ceremony booklets, it was clear how much passion friends and family had for this lovely young couple.

The ceremony, delivered by Father Constantine in the gorgeous little chapel, Sacred Heart church in Calwell, was incredibly touching, with lots of love, laughter and stories of how Tim and Fi first met.

We had a great time on location, with the rain subsiding for us allowing us a little more flexibility, but still providing lots of beautiful clouds and lovely reflective puddles!

On to the reception at Rydges Lakeside, where I had a lot of fun working my "photo-booth" - where guests can write their own special message to the happy couple (or just have a group shot) on a blackboard.  GREAT FUN!  Here are some of the pics from the day, I hope you enjoy them even a smidge as much as we did making them.

Sandy + Dino = LOVE

Try as we might, the weather is something you just can't predict.  The weather in the week leading up to Sandy & Dino's wedding was testimony to that - one thing was certain though,  come rain, hail or shine, these two and their love, was going to shine through on the day.  Shine it did! Thanks for sharing this day with me, it was definitely an honour and a privilege!
