The Very Thought of You - Beautiful Bungendore Bridal fashion shoot

Something I have been appreciating about Canberra recently is how big the sky is here, on a cloudless day, I just love how open and spacious Canberra feels.

One of my favourite places of all in the region is Lake George. It is such an amazing area, where this feeling of space is amplified even further.

Last year I was fortunate enough to team up with some wonderfully talented locals to put together a bridal fashion/hair/makeup shoot in the Bungendore region.

Emma from Antique Salon, Heather from Heather Turk Makeup and the beautiful Divya and Maddie modelled for us at a time of year that was still pretty chilly! I love the results of this shoot, one of my fave images is below:

The Very Thought of You...Stormy Skies

Helen and Peter make such a charming couple, I was so delighted to be part of their day, meeting their gorgeous friends and family who had all come to celebrate the moment with them.

I remember that for quite every wedding I worked on around the time of Helen and Peters big day, it had threatened to rain, but for each one, held off, so we had been very lucky!

Even luckier in this instance, that we were provided with the most magnificent skies - what a gorgeous backdrop!  The reception and ceremony were held at The Deck at Regatta Point.

The Very Thought of You.....Sparkle & Shine

Deb and Andrew were married on the *most* gorgeous autumn day in Canberra!

The wedding was vintage inspired and Deb wore the most gorgeous red shoes, it was an amazingly colourful, joyful event, with so much smiling and laughter my cheeks hurt just remembering it!

With so many gorgeous images to choose from this was a hard one, but I've picked this one out - this beautiful image of Deb captures her as the natural, relaxed and happily in love person she is!

The Very Thought of You.....architecture of the heart

Megan and Rich were married on 1st of October, which is also my own wedding anniversary so I'm pretty sure it's the most awesome day to get married on!  Canberra is gorgeous all year around, but it does spring pretty *amazingly*.

One of my favourite locations in Canberra is the National Gallery of Australia.  The buildings are just so striking, and this image from Megan and Richs' day is still one of my favourites, I just love how the buildings and surrounds of the gallery work in so well with new spring foliage. Such a lovely, delicate colour palette!

The Very Thought of You......Sweethearts in love

Timmy and Fi are two of the most beautiful people I've ever met. So genuinely lovely, so genuinely in love, they are just 100% sweet-hearts.

It was such a joy photographing their wedding, one of those times where you appreciate how lucky you are to have such an awesome job!

This image (ok images - I'm cheating today) really sums up the sweetness of this lovely young couple, I just love it!
