What a beautiful year. Looking back on these images is always a joy - remembering not only the couple, but their bridal party, friends and family - and how gorgeous Canberra and the surrounding region is throughout the year!  Here are a few highlights!

2010 - A Year in Hair - Canberra Hair Photographer

In 2010, the Canberra Institute of Technology Hair Department employed me to work with the graduating hair apprentices to create images for the exhibition "SILK".


The process involved working with around 25 students over 6 days, to come up with "the shot" that reflected their vision. Enormous amount of fun, and such a privilege to work with such amazing young talent.

The final images they selected for the exhibition are shown below - impressive stuff!

Morris Minor Mania - Canberra Automotive Photographer

In April of 2010 I was asked to photograph the Canberra Region Morris Minor Clubs members cars for a calendar. As a Morris owner myself, I am a huge fan, so this was a great opportunity to showcase these character filled cars in some of Canberra's best spots for automotive photography.

2010 - A photographic rertrospective

It's this time of year that has us all looking back, contemplating the year that was.  How did we fit so much into a time-frame that went so quickly?  It's remarkable to think of how many peoples lives I was allowed into, to share the most amazing experiences with - such an incredible job this is!

Over the next few days I'll be uploading a visual retrospective of 2010. I hope you enjoy it.

Sovereign Studio - Perfection, Light, Life.

After nearly a year of planning, earthworks and construction, our studio is now built and will be OPEN for business early in 2011!

The studio has been named "Sovereign Studio" and has adopted the Fleur de Lys symbol as its emblem, representing Perfection, Light and Life - three things that some up what photography is all about to us!

2010 Page Awards - Canberra Event Photographer

The Canberran Printing Industry, or "Page" Awards, were held at Hotel Realm in Canberra on November 19. What a great event with an energetic and fun loving crowd - but so close to the end of Movember = so many moustaches!
